Manchester City are close to finalising a £50million-a-year kit contract with Puma, with the deal set to become the largest in their commercial history.

Sportsmail understands talks between Pep Guardiola's Premier League leaders and the sportswear giant are near completion.

Their current agreement with Nike, which brings in around £20m each season, finishes at the end of this campaign and club officials were keen to search for better terms.
