Manchester City haven't called me to join and I never asked for a move there, insists Leonardo Bonucci

Manchester City target Leonardo Bonucci says there has been no contact between himself and Pep Guardiola's club.

The 29-year-old was reported to have contacted City chief executive Ferran Soriano to discuss a potential move last summer.

Bonucci, who is also being pursued by Chelsea, said: 'Manchester City said that I had called them to move there? I did not call anybody, they have not called me personally.'
