Vincent Kompany's latest injury setback will keep him out of action for four to six weeks, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed.
The Belgian defender made his first Premier League start since April against Crystal Palace last weekend after overcoming thigh and groin issues.
But he lasted only 37 minutes before limping off the Selhurst Park pitch having suffered a knee ligament injury in a collision with goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
The 30-year-old travelled to Barcelona earlier this week to be assessed by the highly-regarded Dr Ramon Cugat in Barcelona, and has now been told he faces at least a month out.
