Manchester City FC news: Eliaquim Mangala set to join Inter Milan on season-long loan

Inter Milan have agreed a deal with Manchester City to take Eliaquim Mangala on loan for the season.

The defender is not in Pep Guardiola's first-team plans at the Etihad and he spent the previous campaign at Valencia.

City have been willing to let the France international go on loan again all summer and he has now secured his next destination.

According to reports, Mangala has now agreed to join Inter and will move to the San Siro for the season.

As part of the deal, City will continue to pay part of the centre-back's wages – which are reported to be close to £100,000-a-week.
