Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov wants to return to Lazio in the future.
The 31-year-old is about to enter the final year of his contract at the Etihad and he is no closer to signing an extension.
It has led to reports that the left-back could come back to Italy and spend more time with Lazio, where he played from 2007 to 2010 before joining City.
And when quizzed by Il Messaggero about returning to Rome, Kolarov said: "One day I'd like to come back.
"Rome stayed in my heart. I've won everything in Manchester, but Italy is something else.
