Manchester City's owners have extended their global brand by buying up a Uruguayan club.
City Football Group, who already own clubs in Australia and the United States, as well as the Premier League side, are looking to spread their influence to South America.
And to do so they have purchased Club Atletico Torque, who play in Uruguay's second division.
The group have also entered into a partnership with Atletico Venezuela, another South American club, as they boast that they have doubled their scouting presence on the continent.
