Manchester City defender John Stones knocked off the ball 'like a child' for Gladbach goal, says Roy Keane

Roy Keane has laid into Manchester City's John Stones for the role by played by the defender in the build-up to Borussia Monchengladbach's goal in their 1-1 draw.

Gladbach captain Lars Stindl rolled Stones inside the City half with the 22-year-old hitting the deck after an apparent pull on his arm. Referee Cuneyt Cakir ignored City's appeals for a free-kick as Stindl raced into the box to tee up Raffael to score the game's first goal.

Analysing the game for ITV, Keane and fellow pundit Lee Dixon took issue with Stones' handling of the situation. The former Manchester United captain was particularly scathing in assessment.
