Manchester City are finalising terms on a five and a half year contract for Velez Sarsfield midfielder Maximo Perrone.
The 20-year-old - who rose through the youth ranks at Velez before joining the first-team in January 2022 - will cost the Premier League giants around £8.2million.
Perrone is expected to sign for Pep Guardiola's side after his participation in the South America U20 Championship with Argentina.
