Pep Guardiola said Samir Nasri can stay at Manchester City 'if he wants to help us and be part of something.'
The Frenchman reported for pre-season training overweight and was seemingly cast aside by Guardiola as a raft of new attackers arrived at the Etihad.
But the former Barcelona boss has changed his tune about the playmaker and believes 'his quality is on another level.'
'Nasri can stay,' Guardiola told reporters.
