Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says Fernandinho does not need to curb 'aggressive' style as he prepares to return from ban against West Ham

Pep Guardiola wants Fernandinho to continue with his non-compromising style in midfield after a four-match ban.

Manchester City welcome back their star central midfielder after suspension this month when they travel to West Ham on Wednesday night.

Fernandinho was sent off three times in six weeks but Guardiola insists the Brazilian does not have an aggression problem.

And Guardiola revealed there will be no first-team signings before the 11pm deadline - although it is understood that City are hoping to tie up a deal for Atlético Venezuela's 19-year-old Yangel Herrera.
