Manchester City have suffered a big blow with reports that left-back Benjamin Mendy is facing NINE MONTHS on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.
The Frenchman only arrived at the Etihad Stadium this summer in a £52million move from Monaco, but his season could be over after just five games after suffering knee ligament damage.
Mendy was forced off the field in the first-half of City’s 5-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, and was seen in the stands on crutches for Tuesday’s Champion League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk.
