Manchester City beat Barcelona and Real Madrid to the signing of Real Mallorca teenager Richard Dionkou

Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign Real Mallorca's teenage right-back Richard Dionkou.

City's youth recruitment strategy is seeing them snap up some of Europe's elite young players ahead of rivals from home and abroad.

Last month they signed 13-year-old defender Finley Burns from Southend United for £175,000 and Valencia's 15-year-old striker Nabil Touaizi for £255,000.
