Manchester City have accepted a Football Association misconduct charge over the failure to control their players during the 1-1 Premier League draw against Liverpool on Sunday.
The charge related to a second half incident when referee Michael Oliver awarded Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool a penalty, after Gael Clichy raised a boot on Roberto Firmino.
The penalty was successfully converted by James Milner before Manchester City equalised through Sergio Aguero in the 69th minute.
Oliver was surrounded by Manchester City’s players in the incident and booked David Silva and Gael Clichy.
