Manchester City extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table after their 2-0 win over Brentford on Wednesday night.

The champions took the lead through Riyad Mahrez after Raheem Sterling was fouled by Mads Roerslev.

City doubled their lead thanks to Kevin de Bruyne's goal following a mistake from Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.
