Manchester City 1-1 Everton: Nolito rescues point for Pep Guardiola after Romelu Lukaku strike

Manchester City were held at home for the first time this season as Pep Guardiola's side missed two penalties and needed a Nolito header to cancel out Romelu Lukaku's opener.

Kevin De Bruyne passed up the opportunity to put his side ahead at the break as Martin Stekelenburg saved a penalty from the Belgiun after Phil Jagielka brought down David Silva in the box.

Romelu Lukaku gave Pep Guardiola's side a savage sucker punch as the Belgian squared up Gael Clichy before firing across Bravo into the bottom corner. Sergio Aguero came off the bench and was offered an immediate opportunity to pull his side level from the spot but again City spurned the penalty chance.
