The 19-year-old winger is on an 18-month loan from the Citizens, which expires at the end of the season. He capitalised on sloppy play between Willy Caballero and Leroy Sane, jinking inside the box before coolly dispatching across the face of goal.
The hosts were back on level terms four minutes later when Kelechi Iheanacho - who could start in the Premier League at the weekend with Sergio Aguero suspended - completed a brilliant passing move initiated by Ilkay Gundogan.
