Man United are in 'pole position to get Erling Haaland NEXT summer' when £64m clause is active

Manchester United are in pole position to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland when his £64million release clause becomes available next summer, say reports.

The Norwegian striker scored 41 goals in 41 games for the German club last summer and was wanted by Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid earlier this year, as revealed by Sportsmail in March.

European champions Chelsea reportedly put in a cash-plus-player bid for Haaland which Dortmund are said to have rebuffed as it was not near their £150million valuation for the player.
