Man City's Gabriel Jesus was painting streets in Brazil for 2014 World Cup

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has shared a batch of brilliant photographs that document his preparations for the 2014 World Cup in his native Brazil.

As the country prepared to host the tournament for the second time, Gabriel and his equally excited friends took to the streets of Sao Paulo with a huge bucket of paint and began daubing splashes of colour around to spruce up the neighbourhood.

Taken three years before he became a £27 million prodigy, Gabriel would have been on the books of the Palmeiras U17 side at the time these images were captured -- just a local kid doing his bit with a huge football tournament just around the corner.
