Manchester City target Omar Marmoush has undergone his medical at the club after Pep Guardiola's side reached a verbal agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt to sign the talent for £67 million.
Marmoush, 25, is the second-top scorer in the Bundesliga behind Harry Kane with 15 goals. He has 20 goals in all competitions.
Mail Sport exclusively revealed City's interest in the Egyptian international last month, and the club have already agreed personal terms with the forward.
City have been looking for a player to alleviate the burden on Erling Haaland and Pep Guardiola has admitted they made a mistake by not replacing Julian Alvarez who joined Atletico Madrid in the summer.
