Manchester City will look to conclude a potential £67million deal for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush this week as they splash out over £100million this window.
Egypt international Marmoush has already agreed personal terms and City are in the throes of negotiating the structure of the fee before signing the prolific forward.
Mail Sport exclusively revealed City's interest last month and on Saturday Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche confirmed: 'One club has made contact. A club has expressed its interest.' Marmoush went on to score Frankfurt's winner in their 1-0 win at St Pauli.
The 25-year-old, second only to Harry Kane in the Bundesliga scoring charts, has now scored 19 goals overall this season.
