According to insight from reliable Manchester Evening News journalist Stuart Brennan, Bayern Munich are apparently hopeful of landing star winger Leroy Sane on the cheap amid recent events which continue to cloud football.
A report from last August, courtesy of magazine kicker, suggested that Sane had in fact decided to join the Bavarian giants for an alleged €100 million sum (£87.6 million) – which would have made it the most expensive transfer in Bundesliga history at the time.
However, after tearing his ACL in the Community Shield that same month, ruling him out for the entire campaign to date, a move failed to materialise – with the MEN now suggesting that Bayern hold all the cards amid the growing pandemic currently sweeping Britain.
