Raheem Sterling is contracted with Manchester City until 2023 and is expected to open discussions over a new deal, but Football Insider say City have been dealt with ‘frustration’ as their talks with Sterling are being ‘held up’ due to a ‘surprise twist’ regarding the 26-year-old’s representative.
Sterling is in the process of changing agents, ending his long-term association with Aidy Ward who brokered his controversial move from Liverpool to Manchester City in 2015 and helped negotiate his five-year deal worth up to £300k-per-week in 2018.
