Man City are considering a winter break in Abu Dhabi for players not involved at the World Cup, confirms Pep Guardiola, with Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez set to enjoy a warm weather camp and meet the club's owners

Pep Guardiola confirmed that Manchester City are considering a warm-weather winter break in Abu Dhabi.

The Premier League champions scrapped an idea to head there last January given a coronavirus outbreak but have loose plans around a short camp for the small number of players not at the World Cup.

City have not been to Abu Dhabi, the home of Sheikh Mansour, since March 2018 – and any travel would be following almost a fortnight off after facing Brentford on November 12.
