Liam Cooper was a relieved man after the Leeds captain watched his side get pegged back before netting a dramatic winner in second-half stoppage time at champions-elect Manchester City.
The visitors went ahead through Stuart Dallas' crisp strike on 42 minutes before Cooper was dismissed on the stroke of half time following a VAR review after lunging in and initially getting the ball before catching Gabriel Jesus just below his right knee.
That decision looked like it could scupper Marcelo Bielsa's men of the chance to claim to claim their first-ever victory at the Etihad as Ferran Torres equalised on 76 minutes.
