A major update has emerged regarding the health of England legend Stuart Pearce.
Pearce was recovering in hospital in Canada after he suffered a medical emergency while on a flight from the United States.
The 62-year-old was unwell on the flight back to London on March 2 after he had attended a rugby league match in Las Vegas between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves.
A decision was subsequently made to make an emergency landing in Canada.
TalkSPORT commentator Sam Matterface revealed before Saturday lunchtime’s game between Nottingham Forest and Manchester City that he had chatted with Pearce on Friday.
