Jurgen Klopp has been handed a boost with the returns of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson and Fabinho to training.
The trio, who were all eliminated from the World Cup at the quarter-final stage, are in contention for the club for their Carabao Cup visit to Manchester City later this week.
It comes after Klopp had said on Friday that they all could be involved - though Virgil van Dijk will remain absent for the League Cup tie as Liverpool monitor his fitness ahead of the Premier League's return.
'Yeah, there’s a chance, of course – they train already,' the 55-year-old had said.
