Sadio Mane scored Liverpool's 200th Premier League goal of the Jurgen Klopp era as he wrapped up Saturday's 2-0 win over Newcastle.
It has taken Liverpool just 97 games under Klopp's guidance to reach their double century, which makes him the third-fastest manager to the milestone.
Former Reds boss Brendan Rodgers hit the 200-goal mark in 96 games, but Manuel Pellegrini is currently the man to beat, having watched his Manchester City team get there after just 84 matches of his tenure in 2015.
Team | Manager | Games played |
---|---|---|
Manchester City | Manuel Pellegrini | 84 |
Liverpool | Brendan Rodgers | 96 |
Liverpool | Jurgen Klopp | 97 |
Manchester City | Roberto Mancini | 100 |
