Leroy Sane admits Manchester City were 'unbelievable' against Bayern Munich in their quarter-final clash, as German champions crash out the Champions League... but insists he's 'proud' of the 'spirit' shown by Thomas Tuchel's side

Bayern Munich's Leroy Sane has admitted that Manchester City were too 'strong' for the German side in their quarter-final tie.

The Bundesliga champions crashed out of the competition after drawing 1-1 on Wednesday night, meaning the aggregate score was 4-1, against the English side.

Sane, who spent four years at City, was seen distraught after the game and was consoled by his former manager Pep Guardiola. He then when on to speak about his thoughts on the tie.

Speaking to BT Sport, the German winger said: 'Today was a good game from us, strong game, I have to score and make it 1-0.
