Lautaro Martinez 'is willing to wait another 12 months' to seal his desired transfer from Inter Milan to Barcelona despite interest from Manchester City.
The Argentina striker's move to the Nou Camp stalled after the 111million euro (£101m) release clause in his Inter contract expired at the start of July.
And with City searching for a long-term successor to Sergio Aguero and willing to spend big after their European ban was overturned, a move to England could have happened this summer.
But, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the 22-year-old will reject any offer from City and wait until the start of the 2021-22 season to make the move to Spain.
