With David Silva back from injury and Kevin De Bruyne at last firing on all cylinders, City looked a totally different side.

The Achilles' heel all season has been the side's inability to finish sides off when they have been on top. At half-time there was a chance that this would happen yet again, but instead a solid and resolute second half brought four more goals and a lot of hope that a top four finish can be safely achieved.
