Kevin De Bruyne will not have to undergo surgery despite suffering a fractured nose and eye socket in Manchester City's Champions League final defeat by Chelsea.
The 29-year-old City star left the Estadio do Dragao in Porto in tears after suffering a double face fracture following a clash with Blues defender Antonio Rudiger.
He then revealed the extent of his injuries on Twitter on Sunday after leaving the pitch concussed and needing ice on his eye, but Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has confirmed he will not be required to go under the knife for further treatment.
