Kevin De Bruyne's agent has confirmed he will open talks over a lucrative new contract with Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola hailed De Bruyne as 'the best player in Europe bar one' this week and the 26-year-old Belgium international can expect to be rewarded with a hefty pay hike on his £115,000 per week salary.

Talking to Italian Radio Crc, his agent Patrick De Koster said: 'In the coming months, I’ll meet with City to figure out how to improve and extend his contract.
