John Stones has been rewarded for his Manchester City rebirth by signing a fresh, long-term deal at the Etihad.
Stones has put pen to paper on a five year deal, keeping him with the north west club until the age of 32.
Manager Pep Guardiola has rewarded Stones for regaining his place in the senior ranks, after initially falling way down the pecking order.
As first reported by Sportsmail on Monday night, Stones has accepted the new terms and will continue as first choice next season as City look to defend their Premier League title.
