Angelino blasted Pep Guardiola to BBC Sport and said the Manchester City manager killed his confidence after leaving him out for lengthy periods during his seven-year stint at the Etihad Stadium.
The 24-year-old made only 15 appearances in all competitions for the Sky Blues and spent most of his time either out of the matchday squad or as an unused substitute (Transfermarkt).
Angelino first joined City from Deportivo in 2013 and was loaned out to New York City FC (2015/16), Girona (2016/17), RCD Mallorca (2016/17) and NAC Breda (2017/18) before being sold to PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2018 (Transfermarkt).
