Serie A giants Inter Milan will make a January approach for out-of-favour Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala.
The France international has fallen well down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium and a move away looks the most likely solution.
Inter were in hot pursuit of the 26-year-old during the summer but could not agree on the terms of a deal with City.
However, according to Tuttosport, the San Siro giants will renew their interest in January and make a formal approach to sign Mangala on a permanent basis.
City boss Pep Guardiola is unlikely to stand in Mangala's way should a deal be agreed, with the Frenchman desperately seeking a return to first-team action.
