Manchester City have been given a boost ahead of Wednesday evening’s meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion, confirming on their official website that Raheem Sterling is ‘set to return’ against the Seagulls.
The 26-year-old missed Sunday’s FA Cup win over Birmingham City as he was short of fitness but is now available for selection and could start at the Etihad Stadium.
Sterling has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and supplying eight assists.
