Kyle Walker was one of many players who came away with praise from supporters for his performance in Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Real Madrid. The 29-year-old was culpable for Real scoring their first-half opener through Isco, but his overall showing at the Santiago Bernabeu deserved plaudits.
Walker saw a lot of the ball over the 90 minutes, was strong in the air, seldom relinquished possession, turned over the ball multiple times and occasionally provided an attacking threat down the right flank.
