Paul Robinson has been named in Burnley's starting line-up to face Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime.
The ex-England international goalkeeper has not played a competitive game in more than two years and last featured in the Premier League in 2012.
But the 36-year-old, who joined the Clarets in January as cover, gets his chance in the top-flight again after an injury to regular shot-stopper Tom Heaton.
News of Robinson's shock start in Sean Dyche's team was met with amazement on Twitter, with many football fans convinced he had already retired.
