Manchester City won their fourth consecutive League Cup after beating Tottenham Hotspur in front of 8,000 supporters at Wembley on Sunday, but the game will also be remembered for Pep Guardiola confirming Eric Garcia transfer to Barcelona.
The City boss revealed in the aftermath of his side’s 1-0 win over Spurs that Garcia was left out of the matchday squad as he’ll be on his way back to Barcelona.
As per Marca, Guardiola said: “Eric Garcia is one of my favourite players.
