Rio Ferdinand has lavished praise on Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling after his stellar showing against Sheffield United.
The 25-year-old was found in unstoppable form at Bramall Lane at Saturday lunchtime and threatened to bully the home side's backline with lightning fast trickery across the rain-slicked turf.
It was a superb jink beyond two United players which helped Pep Guardiola's men fashion out Kyle Walker's opening goal, and Ferdinand was unable to hold back his sheer admiration at the break.
He told BT Sport: 'Raheem Sterling has been at the centre of everything positive that City have done.
