A light-hearted Riyad Mahrez has chosen to mock himself after his harrowing miss in Manchester City's 3-1 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Algerian should have bagged City's fourth goal of the game after being played through one-on-one with Villa shot-stopper Emi Martinez in the game's closing minutes.
The Etihad prepared to erupt with Mahrez having already scored from the penalty spot in the first-half and perfectly poised to double his tally as he burst through on goal.
Martinez was helpless but so was Mahrez's aiming as his overly powerful strike sailed over the keeper, over the bar, and over numerous rows of fans before nestling somewhere amongst those seated in the stadium's upper tiers.
