Harry Kane BREAKS Jimmy Greaves' Tottenham scoring record as he notches his 267th goal for the club in all competitions with strike against Manchester City

Harry Kane has broken Jimmy Greaves' long-standing scoring record for Tottenham with a strike against Manchester City.

The Tottenham forward scored his 267th goal for the club against City, breaking the record which has stood for over 50 years.

With City dallying on the ball, Tottenham pressed high through Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who picked the pocket of teenager Rico Lewis who had been played into trouble by Rodri.

Spotting Kane pulling away, Hojbjerg managed to shift the ball to his better-placed team-mate who characteristically slotted beyond Ederson to give Tottenham the lead.
