Guardiola: Man City did 'absolutely everything' to win against Everton

MANCHESTER -- Pep Guardiola insisted he wasn't frustrated despite Manchester City failing to beat Everton in a game they dominated at the Etihad.

City had 72 percent possession and 19 attempts but, despite their domination, they could only claim a 1-1 draw with Ronald Koeman's side.

Crucially they missed two penalties with Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero having their spot-kicks saved by Maarten Stekelenburg, who also made an incredible one-handed stop from De Bruyne's long-range strike.

City were caught on the counter-attack by a Romelu Lukaku goal and needed a 72nd-minute header from Nolito to salvage a point.
