Former England international David White has named himself as another victim of sexual abuse as a young footballer by Barry Bennell.
Football has been at the centre of a storm this week after former Crewe Alexandra player Andy Woodward waived his right to anonymity to reveal the abuse he suffered at the hands of youth coach Bennell.
The former Sheffield United defender revealed that he was abused between the ages of 11 and 15, and Cheshire Police confirmed that they had been contacted by 11 other people who had suffered abuse.
White, who was capped on one occasion by the senior England football team, began his career with Salford Boys before joining the youth system at Manchester City.
