Ex-Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge admits he's 'probably more famous' for not shaking John Terry's hand than he is for playing football

Wayne Bridge believes he is more famous for refusing to shake John Terry's hand than he is for his career with Chelsea, Manchester City and England.

The 36-year-old, who hung up his boots in 2014 after a spell with Reading, won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the League Cup during his time at Stamford Bridge.

But Bridge admits that the controversial incident with Terry, which occurred before a game in February 2010, is what he is best remembered for.

In the build-up to the game between Chelsea and Manchester City, it was alleged that Terry had become involved with Bridge's ex-girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel.
