Everton are locked in a four-way battle to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu after giving up on landing Joe Hart from Manchester City.
Hull, Napoli and Sevilla are also chasing 29-year-old Sirigu, who has asked to leave the French champions this summer after losing his number one spot to Kevin Trapp.
That news, according to reports in French newspaper Le Parisien, has sparked interest from a number of sides who want to sign Sirigu before next week's transfer deadline.
Napoli want to bring the Italian back to Serie A, while Sevilla are hopeful that the prospect of Champions League football could lure him to Spain.
