Erling Haaland has missed out on Manchester City's matchday squad for their match against Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
The Norwegian striker has been in stunning form this season, scoring 17 goals in 11 league games, but he has been ruled out after feeling ill during City's Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
Pep Guardiola had admitted Haaland was a doubt for Saturday's lunchtime kick-off during his pre-match press conference, and the 22-year-old has failed to recover in time.
With Haaland's absence confirmed prior to kick-off, Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers admitted he was happy that his side would not have to face the free-scoring forward.
