Erling Haaland has filed a copyright application in his native Norway as he bids to expand his burgeoning empire.

As well as his eyewatering salary of up to £865,000 a week courtesy of Premier League paymasters Manchester City, the prolific striker has a number of lucrative partnerships which further boost his bank balance.

The 23-year-old signed a lucrative deal with Nike worth £19.3million per year for up to ten years to be his boot sponsor in March in a bid to emulate his icon, Ronaldo Nazario.

Haaland has also appeared in advertisements for watchmakers Breitling, Samsung Norway, streamer Viaplay, and sports tech company Hyperice.
