Erling Haaland could sign a £50million boot deal with Puma or Adidas before he arrives at Manchester City, according to a report.
City shirt sponsors Puma and Adidas, who have a deal with Haaland suitors Real Madrid until 2028, are locked in a boot battle over the Norway sensation, The Sun has claimed.
The German companies reportedly want to hand Haaland a huge sum that would dwarf the salary he will rake in through his £385,000-a-week deal at City.
Puma signed a £650million, 10-year kit deal with City in 2019 that has seen the likes of manager Pep Guardiola model their sportswear in promotional shoots.
