England have booked their place in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020 after second-half goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane handed them a 2-0 win over Germany at Wembley.
The Manchester City winger caused the German defence problems throughout and connected with Luke Shaw's inch-perfect cross to fire the Three Lions ahead in the 75th minute.
Germany had a glorious chance to equalise when Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller was played through on goal but he fired his finish wide of the goal, much to the relief of Gareth Southgate.
